Coming this Winter to Druids Glen is a series of open competitions that may set the tone for future open series in Ireland in 2018 and beyond. An alliance is coming that sets no limits.
Amateur GUI/ILGU handicap golfers may get to play alongside and compete with PGA professionals in a stableford format.
The Druids Glen Resort Winter Alliance sponsored by Titleist is running from the 23rd of October until the 11th of December, it will then go into recess until the 15th of January 2018 and run until the 2nd of March.
The series will conclude in an event where weekly winners will join the 20 players that opted to be included on an order of merit.
The events will be played over the Glen (€50pp) and Heath (€30pp) courses – those that opt into the order of merit are eligible for a discounted rate.
